North
Carolina Parenting Educator Credential
Based
on the input from parenting educators throughout North Carolina, the North
Carolina Parenting Education Network is proud to offer a credential for
parenting educators.
Parenting Educators can work toward completing the requirements for their
credential or, once achieved, can note their credential on employment
applications. This is just one step in advancing and professionalizing
the field. Other benefits.
There are Four Levels of
Credential
I. North Carolina Credentialed
Parenting Educator (CPE-I)
II. North Carolina Credentialed Parenting Educator (CPE-II)
III. North Carolina Credentialed Parenting Education Associate (CPE-III)
IV. North Carolina Credentialed Parenting Education Resource Assistant
(CPE-IV)
There is a $40 application processing fee. After receiving your packet,
a panel of Credentialed Parenting Educators will review the applications
and you will receive notification within 3 months about the status of
your application.
Print the pdf. file linked below. Even if you don't feel you qualify now,
you can work toward this professional credential.
